Three Hundred Nabbed

Law enforcement recently swept through the area, gathering up some 300 wanted felons. KOTV's Lori Fullbright went along for the ride, and told us about it on this evening's newscast.

Great. I'm happy to hear these people are off the streets. But, now that we have them, what do we do with them?

Since there is no room at the inn, do we let them go so the cops can chase them down again? Or do we let 300 others that are just as bad go so the cops can go chasing after them instead?

Unless the state steps up and provides sufficient prison space, we can do sweeps 'til the cows come home but we will see no long-term gains from the effort.
