What Homos Say; What God Said

A local blogger---a self-proclaimed homosexual Jew blogger---put up a post in which an excerpt from something called a Margaret Cho was included. The excerpt was nothing more than another vitriolic rant against Christianity, laced with words like "asshole," "idiot" and "fucker." So I won't waste your time by posting any link to it.

I will make note of one particular sentence in the post, however. Responding to comments spawned by the Cho thing's apparently consistent taking of God's name in vain, she wrote, "He said I could use his name in vain or whatever."

According to my King James, God said, "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain."

Enough said, I think.
