No Age Limits for Truckers?
The latest reports about the recent carnage on the Will Rogers Turnpike say the 76-year-old semi driver that caused it all may face 10 counts of negligent homicide. Investigators say he was driving too fast, and that they see no evidence that he even hit the brakes before mauling a column of cars.In all the reporting on the matter, I've heard nothing of any regulation that puts a limit on how old truck drivers can be. I'd say now would be a good time to examine the wisdom of that.
