Is There More Than One President?

President Obama, in the midst of yet another trip on the taxpayer dime, was interviewed by CBS Evening News. He made a comment I found most interesting.

The topic of White House leaks concerning Afghanistan was raised. Obama said he was angry about the leaks. He said meetings about Afghanistan are held in the secured confines of the Situation Room because, he said, "we" are making life-and-death decisions.

Nope. Sorry, Barry. There is no "we." It's you. You are the commander-in-chief. Others may have input; others may offer advice. But you are the "decider." You will make a decision on Afghanistan, and you will own it. That's the deal you said you wanted when you applied for the job; that's the deal you've got.
