Congratulations, Phil

I don't usually watch golf. Generally, I could care less which multimillionaire golfer secures another trophy and another big check. But I watched this weekend. Basically, I was pulling for anybody but Tiger.

Phil Mickelson won. I am pleased with that result. Phil and his family have endured some tough times of late.

I saw Phil after the 18th hole hug his sick wife, and his kids. He played the tournament with a cap that displayed a pink ribbon. He honors his mother, his wife and his offspring.

I saw a post-tournament interview with the great Tiger Woods. All he talked about was the great Tiger Woods. He spoke of his disappointment about not winning. After all the dishonor he has brought upon his mother, his deceased father, his wife and his children, he spoke only of his disappointment about not winning a golf tournament.

Tiger Woods is a self-absorbed jerk. End of story.
