Reports say employees of the SEC---in the midst of a financial crisis---were somewhat preoccupied with side bar activities. People making in excess of $200,000 per year---plus goodies---were putting on fancy suits, heading off to their fancy offices and firing up porn searches.

Your tax dollars at work.

The local newscasts are eaten up with stories about budget cuts to state agencies. Representatives of those agencies all claim cuts in their budgets will result in the end of the world as we know it.

You know what we need? We need Uncle Sam to go out and borrow, oh, seven or eight hundred billion dollars and pass money out to state and local governments to ensure that vitally important gubment employees don't lose their jobs.

Oh wait, we already did that. Never mind.
